Employees of Monte Cello’s Restaurant along Route 19 in Cranberry Township noticed a patch of grass ablaze Tuesday, July 7, 2020, and quickly extinguished the fire. Cranberry Township Volunteer Fire Company responded to the call around 1:15 p.m. and assisted restaurant workers. Officials suspect the fire was caused by a discarded cigarette butt.Samantha Beal/Butler Eagle
