Virus task force not leading by example

I am impressed with the expertise of the members of the Coronavirus Task Force.

We must heed their call to avoid unnecessary contact with our fellow humans and to practice safe social distancing when we must get to the grocery store, pharmacy, or to exercise outdoor.

The message is repeated daily at the task force briefing. Members of the press are seated at a proper distance from each other. Yet the president and task force members huddle shoulder to shoulder behind the podium at the front of the room.

Why do they not heed their own advice?

Dennis McGlone,

Slippery Rock
