ADAMS TWP — Mars School Board approved the following on March 10:
Christina White as a custodian
Zach Staszak as a baseball coach with a $3,150 stipend
Nicole Bartoletta as a girls track and field coach with a $3,913 stipend
Purchasing $13,452 in supplies and equipment for the maintenance department
A $10,759 grant from LEFCON to support classroom technology
The 2020-21 Butler County Vocational-technical School budget
The 2020-21 Midwestern Intermediate Unit budget
A memorandum of understanding with the Butler County Children's Center Head Start Agency, to last through March 6, 2021
Renewing agreements with Armstrong Business Solutions for E-rate filing
Selling obsolete middle school cafeteria equipment
Hosack, Specht, Muetzel & Wood LLP as district auditor for the years 2020, 2021 and 2022
An agreement with LearnWell to provide educational services at $40 an hour up to 10 hours a week for a student
A $14,250 purchase of 600 Google Chrome Management licenses
Adopting policy 815.1 (social media) and posting policies 220 (student expression/distribution and posting of materials) and 913 (non-school organizations/groups/individuals)
Eleven high school students taking online or in-person courses over the summer or next year
Adjusting a high school student's schedule to allow him to compete with a traveling sports team
Tabling a trainer and medical services agreement with UPMC Sports Medicine.
The board met in executive session before and after the meeting for legal and personnel matters.
