I watched the State of the Union speech, which I don’t often do. I was embarrassed by some of the members of Congress.

I didn’t see them standing when others did. Even when the president mentioned someone who gave his life for our country or who had done something to help people. That was a slap in the face to the people named, not the president.

I didn’t get the white dressing up, maybe they just wanted to be noticed, but all it showed was they were disrespectful.

I just didn’t get their message. Didn’t these mothers teach them how to respect others?

Also, ripping up the copy of the speech didn’t impress me. It just showed she was making a bad impression for people to see.
