A seminar for adult survivors of sexual abuse will be from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 22 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 120 Sunset Drive, in the conjunction with North Main Street Church of God, for adult survivors of sexual abuse.

The Tamar Speaks Retreat is designed to aid the healing process of people who have been sexually abused. Facilitators of the retreat are Denise Wilson and Carl Baughman, both licensed therapists. Preregistration is required.

Tamar was a daughter of King David in the Old Testament, who was raped by her brother. The retreat is designed to provide a setting to voice the pain that Tamar and all survivors of abuse experience, and begin the process of healing.
