Man accused of threatening roommate with screwdriver
A Butler man was arrested after he allegedly threatened a woman with a screwdriver during a domestic dispute Monday at his home, authorities said.
The defendant, 61-year-old Wayne Edwards Sr., was apparently upset because he had not received his government check earlier that day, the victim — his roommate — told officers, Butler police said. No injuries were reported.
District Judge William Fullerton arraigned Edwards on misdemeanor charges of terroristic threats and simple assault. He was placed in the Butler County Prison on $10,000 bond.
