Knoch High School Principal Todd Trofimuk presents William Crytzer with an Award of Excellence.

Knoch High School senior William Crytzer received the Award of Excellence from the 2019 Congress of Future Medical Leaders.

He was selected to represent Pennsylvania as a delegate to the congress at UMass Lowell in Lowell, Mass., from June 23 to June 25.

All delegates are nominated by their teachers or the academy based on proven academic excellence. The Congress of Future Medical Leaders has strict academic requirements and students must have a verified GPA to be nominated.

The purpose of this event is to honor, inspire, motivate and direct the top students in the country who aspire to be physicians or medical scientists.

William plans to attend college next year to pursue a degree to become a quantitative analyst.
