I sit here and ponder how very much,

I’d love to talk with you today.

There are so many things we didn’t get to say.

I know how much you loved me,

And how much I loved you.

That every time I think of you,

I know you’ll miss me too.

You had so much to live for,

You had so much to do.

It still seems impossible

That God was taking you.

Although you’ve walked through Heaven’s gate,

We’re never far apart.
