Rosalie and Kenneth Bonus

Smith, Bonus

Rosalie Smith of Waterford and Kenneth Bonus of Butler were united in marriage Aug. 3 at the Smith family farm in Waterford. The Rev. Barbara Brown officiated. A reception followed at the Smith family farm.

The bride is the daughter of Rodney and Darlene Smith of Waterford. Parents of the bridegroom are Elaine Bonus and Edward Bonus of Butler.

The honor attendant was Rachel Smith of Tampa, Fla. Bridesmaids included Mary Marx of Chardon, Ohio, Aslynn Filipowicz of Fairfax, Va., Jessica Taylor of Erie, Ella Danylko of Erie, and Stephanie Perry of Hollidaysburg.

The flower girl was Lyla Smith of Warminster.

Performing the duties of best man was Aaron Bonus of Butler. Ushers were R.J. and Rylan Smith, brothers of the bride.

Groomsmen were Skyler Hetrick of Butler, Phil Thompson of Carnegie, Andrew Swartzlander of Butler, Jake Kalafut of Los Angeles, Scott Fetterhoff of Jacksonville, Fla., and Caleb Edgar of Butler.

The ring bearer was Logan Smith of Warminster.

The bride is a 2006 graduate of Fort LeBoeuf High School and a 2010 graduate of Penn State University. She received a master’s degree from Gannon University in 2013.

She is employed by UPMC Children’s Community Pediatrics in Erie.

The bridegroom graduated from Butler High School in 2006 and from Clarion University in 2010.

He is the owner of Bonus Accounting LLC in Chicora.

Following a mini-honeymoon trip to Yosemite, the couple is planning to travel to Greece and South Africa.
