SLIPPERY ROCK — Slippery Rock University will have its annual move-in day on Thursday.

All first-year students and transfer students will move into their dorms from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

All returning students moving into residence halls will move in from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.

This is the second year the freshmen and transfer students will move in on the same day.

MARS — Mars Area Public Library has three openings on its board of directors.The library, 107 Grand Ave., operates on a board of volunteers, who help lead it.According to library staff, anyone who strongly supports literacy and community would make a good addition to their team.Applicants must be a resident of Mars, Valencia or Middlesex.
