Heroin suspected in traffic stop
A woman who was netted in a Butler County District Attorney's Office Drug Task Force sting in October 2012 has once again allegedly been found with suspected heroin.
State police reports said they stopped a 2011 Jeep driven by Amber Doller-Smith, 32, for a summary traffic violation at 5:44 p.m. on July 24 at Cedar and Howard streets in Butler.
Further investigation allegedly revealed that Doller-Smith had a warrant out for her arrest and was in possession of suspected heroin.
The police report stated that she was taken to the Butler County Prison.
In 2012, Doller-Smith and two Pittsburgh men were arrested in a drug raid at Conley Resort on Route 8. Penn and Middlesex township police plus task force officers seized heroin, crack cocaine, packaging paraphernalia and more than $10,800 in cash in that incident.
