Lenape Technical School, Chaplin Avenue, Manor Township, Armstrong County

This is a weeklong overnight camp hosted by the state police for girls and boys, ages 12 to 15. Participants will be introduced to law enforcement agencies and state police units There will be a courthouse tour, demonstrations on first aide, emergency rescues and the hazards of explosives. Mondays to FridaysCranberry Municipal CenterCranberry Township's Camp Cranberry offers area children, ages 3 to 12, programs to spend their summers learning new things, playing sports, learning crafts and much more. Mondays to Fridays9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.Alameda Park, 184 Alameda Park Road, Butler TownshipCamp Alameda features programs for children, ages 5 to 12. Weekly themes include “science week” and “superstar sports” to “carnival week” and much more. Registration is $125 per child and $100 for additional siblings. Mondays to Thursdays9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m.BC3 main campus107 College DriveButler County Community College offers numerous summer programs and courses for youths. In addition to its annual topics, BC3 is expanding its science and robotics catalog to include more STEM offerings. Camps start at $69 per student. An open house is set from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday in the lobby of the Succop Theater. Morning care is available from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. for $28 weekly; and afternoon care from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. for $21 weekly. Monday through Friday6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.Laura J. Doerr ParkCabotThe program, sponsored by the Butler YMCA, is for children who have completed kindergarten through grade six. Campers can utilize SEBCO Pool and will enjoy outdoor activities. The program costs $137 per week plus a $10 field trip fee. Siblings pay $117 per week plus $10 field trip fee. As part of the YMCA, Camp Keystone seeks to encourage growth in spirit, mind and body. Schneider Family YMCA2001 Ehrman Road, Cranberry TownshipCamp Rose offers a variety of activities for children who have completed kindergarten through grade six. The camp costs $185 per camper and is designed to provide challenging activities for campers, under the guidance of caring staff members. Camp Rose seeks to provide an enjoyable summer in which children may grow in mind, body and spirit.
