RENFREW — White Oak Springs Church, 102 Shannon Road, will have a bake sale and yard sale from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 27.

Proceeds benefit the White Oak Springs Scholarship Fund.

[naviga:h3]Painting in park course offered[/naviga:h3]

The Butler County Parks and Recreation Department will have a “Painting in the Park” course from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Alameda Park office, 184 Alameda Park Road.

This is an introductory class on painting, so no skills are required.

Saint Wendelin School, 211 Saint Wendelin Road, is having a Step-Up Day and registration from 9 to 10 a.m. May 17 for students in preschool through eighth grade for the 2019-20 school year.

Registration forms are on the website at www.stwendelinschool.com.

Teachers are inviting incoming students to participate in a class lesson with their current grade level students while parents receive and complete information about registration.

If registering a child on this day, take a copy of the child’s birth certificate, health records (immunizations), and baptismal certificate (if applicable).

SARVER — Buffalo Presbyterian Church, 678 Sarver Road, will have a rummage and bake sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 3 and 4.
