Manhunt underway for Butler man wanted in connection with multiple crimes
A Butler man remains on the run today after authorities say he and a Middlesex Township girl stole her father's car, two guns, jewelry and money before heading to West Virginia.
Tyler O. Lambing, 20, is the subject of a manhunt after allegedly eluding police at a Walmart store in White Hall near Fairmont, W.Va., late Friday night.
Middlesex Township police reported West Virginia authorities caught the 17-year-old girl at the store in the stolen car about 10:15 p.m. Additionally, both guns were recovered Friday night.
Authorities did not identify the girl, but Middlesex Township police officer Conrad Pfeifer said she was taken into custody by West Virginia authorities and released to her father's custody early Saturday morning. She was arrested late Saturday morning at her grandmother's Penn Township home and is expected to be turned over to Butler County juvenile probation authorities.
Lambing and the girl face multiple felonies in Pennsylvania, according to investigators. Lambing, who is already a felon in Pennsylvania, will likely face additional charges in West Virginia.
