Reegan Malis of the Butler girls bowling team defeated Lydia Flanagan, 199-161, in the quarterfinals of the WPIBL Girls Singles championships Thursday night at Sims Lanes in Beaver County.

Malis, though, fell to eventual champion Maddie Mae White of Greensburg Salem, 205-158, in the semifinals to place fourth in the event.

Prior to the event, Jordyn Graham of Butler was named to the All-WPIBL Second Team, while being named the North Section's Most Valuable Player as she had the league's highest girls game of the season at 279.
