Butler girls fall in final
The Butler girls bowling team was runner-up in the WPIBL team championships Thursday night, losing to Burrell in the final.
The Golden Tornado defeated Shaler to advance to the final, but fell to Burrell, 513-439.
Reegan Malis rolled a 557 series with a high game of 197 to lead Butler. The series was the third highest of the day and earned her a spot on the All-WPIBL team.
Jordyn Graham posted a 474 series with a high score of 164.

Karns City 69, Union 48 — Four Gremlins posted double-digit scoring performances, including 21 points from Ethan McElroy, in their regular-season finale at home.
Nolan Cumberland notched 14 points for the Golden Knights while Truman Vereb scored nine.
