Slippery Rock youth wrestlers Sam Caton and Zac Turberville won titles at the recent Great Lakes League Championships.

Caton won the age 8-under, 67-pound division, topping a 13-wrestler bracket. Turberville won the 9-10, 93-pound division, topping a nine-wrestler bracket.

Other Slippery Rock wrestlers placing in the event were Aden Shay (2nd, 9-10, 66 pounds), Skylar Callan, (4th, 8-under, 76 pounds), Connor Metheny (2nd, 9-10, 80 pounds), Klint Shamblin (3rd, 11-12, 137 pounds) and Jacob Reich (3rd, 11-12, 148 pounds).
