[naviga:h3]Portersville hosts fall production[/naviga:h3]

PORTERSVILLE — The Portersville Christian School Fine Arts Committee will have “An Evening of Sights & Sounds” at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the school, 343 E. Portersville Road.

The event is a showcase of the arts and student performance running the gamut of music, sketches, comedy and scenes from Shakespeare among other forms of artistic expression.

Tickets are available now and order forms are available on the home page of the school’s website, www.ourpcs.org, or by calling the school office at 724-368-8787, Ext. 201.

Tickets will also be available at the door.

[naviga:h3]Harmony Museum hosts market[/naviga:h3]

HARMONY — The Harmony Museum, 218 Mercer St., kicks off the holiday season with its WeihnachtsMarkt German-style Christmas Market from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.

Nearly 70 vendors and traditional crafters have been selected to participate based on the quality of their work.

There will be horse and wagon rides, German food and music, and wine and moonshine tasting.

WEST SUNBURY — The “Christmas in West Sunbury” annual craft show will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the West Sunbury Fire Hall, 772 Hall Road.

[naviga:h3]Jennings center lists programs[/naviga:h3]

BRADY TWP — Jennings Environmental Center, 2951 Prospect Road, has scheduled the following programs:

2 p.m. Nov. 18, “Turkey Talk.” Join the Jennings’ staff for this indoor presentation of the life of a wild turkey. The program is free. No registration is required.

7 to 9 p.m. Nov. 23, “Naturally Grateful: A Moonlit Walk.” Take a walk on trails on a full-moon night with Jennings’ staff. Warm up by a campfire at the end of the experience. The program is free. No registration is required.

2 to 4 p.m. Dec. 2, “Nature Detectives: Mining Mysteries.” Families are invited to explore evidence left behind by people from a time long past.

This program is free, but advanced registration is required by Nov. 30, and space is limited.
