The Butler Junior High boys cross country team placed third at the Bill Lennox Invite over the weekend.

Drew Griffith finished first for the Golden Tornado, earning a medal by placing ninth overall. Joel McCloskey medaled by claiming 16th place. Legend Wilkinson placed 26th while Gideon Goettler and Noah Collins also placed in the top 50.

Ava Brewster paced the Butler girls, who were 11th in the team competition. Maddie Semmler, Carmen Skal, Krislyn Green, Sam Cornell, Tiffany Laeu and Brianna Gillis were Tornado runners finishing behind her.
