BHS hires chief compliance officer
The Butler Health System has hired Hillary Harlan as it chief compliance officer.
Harlan, whose first day on the job was Monday, has a doctor of jurisprudence degree from Texas Tech University School of Law, a bachelor’s in science degree in nursing from Texas Tech and a bachelor’s of arts degree in English from Southern Methodist University.
She has served as chief compliance and ethics officer, vice president of compliance and director of compliance for McKesson Corp., a pharmaceutic distributor. She also worked as interim regional vice president of integrity and compliance for Change Healthcare Advisory Services.
“Butler Health System is very fortunate to have found a richly experienced person, one who has written and lectured nationally on compliance topics, as well as applied best practice to her own organizations,” said Ken DeFurio, Butler Health System president and CEO.
