4 county residents now troopers

Four Butler County residents are among the 95 new troopers that are part of the Pennsylvania State Police Academy's 152nd graduating cadet class.

The graduation ceremony was recently held at Bishop McDevitt High School in Harrisburg, marking the culmination of 27 weeks of classroom and physical training.

The new troopers include: Nicholas P. Dahlstrom of Seven Fields, John M. Maczko Jr. of Slippery Rock and Jordan K. Smith of West Sunbury, all of whom have been assigned to Troop D, Butler.

Hannah G. Huber of Cranberry Township has been assigned to Troop B, Washington.

Other new troopers assigned to the Butler troop are Scot M. Bauer of Cameron County, Kristofer L. Brown of Allegheny County, Casey Fuller of Wayne County, Austin L. Griffith of Allegheny County, and Nathan D. Liddle of Clearfield County.

Also, Zakery J. Mata of Chautauqua County, N.Y., Roman M. Shablesky of Lawrence County and Michael W. Torres of Allegheny County.
