SRU's McQuaide national champion
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Slippery Rock University’s Courtney McQuaide won the NCAA Division II pole vault championship Friday with a vault of 13 feet.
McQuaide became SRU’s first-ever female national pole vault champion and the program’s first national champ in any event since 2011.
Teammate Maddy Marshall joined McQuaide as a first team All-American by placing seventh in the pole vault.
