[naviga:h3]Knoch Road to close for road work[/naviga:h3]

CLINTON TWP — A five-day closure of a section of Knoch Road will allow crews to tie the intersection into the new Saxonburg Boulevard.

The state Department of Transportation announced the closure and detour, which will occur from Tuesday to June 3.

The temporary road at Saxonburg Boulevard and Route 228 East that has been used for much of the construction project will be closed as well, department officials said.

The detour will route Knoch Road traffic onto West Main and Pittsburgh streets in Saxonburg, and then onto Saxonburg Boulevard.

Temporary flaggers will be used on Saxonburg Boulevard while paving is completed and traffic will be routed onto the new roundabout.
