[naviga:h3]Butler grad O’Toole earns All-America[/naviga:h3]
GREENSBORO, N.C. — Butler graduate Stephanie O’Toole, a junior on the Shippensburg University women’s swim team, earned All-America honors at the NCAA Division II National Championships over the weekend.
O’Toole placed fourth in the 200-yard individual medley with a school-record time of 2:00.78. She also earned honorable mention All-America by placing 12th in the 100 butterfly with a school-record time of 55.40 seconds.
O’Toole claimed a second honorable mention All-America with a 13th-place finish in the 200 breaststroke with a school-record time of 2:16.65.
[naviga:h3]Herrmann, Sprentz shine in defeat[/naviga:h3]
ALTOONA — Seneca Valley graduates Tyler Herrmann and Anthony Sprentz had solid performances in Penn State Behrend’s 3-1 men’s volleyball loss to Penn State Altoona on Saturday.
Herrmann had 14 kills, nine digs, four blocks and two assists for the Lions (9-9) while Sprentz had 39 assists.
