Brayden Povlick and Cody Reep each tallied a hat trick as the Butler Middle School hockey team defeated Upper St. Clair, 6-2, in playoff action recently.

Reep added an assist and Trevor Ackelson had two assists. Bobby Barnes made 22 saves in goal for the Golden Tornado.

Colin Ruffner and John McShane scored for USC.

Butler faces Beaver in the championship game at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Ice Castle.
