Police on lookout for runaway from Summit Academy
SUMMIT TWP — Police are looking today for four boys reported missing from Summit Academy.
Butler city police units were advised Sunday night to be on the lookout for a white Kia Optima car possibly occupied by the teens who ran away from Summit Academy.
Butler County Emergency Services made the announcement around 6:45 p.m.
Dick Roberts, spokesman for the school, confirmed that a student or students were missing, but did not have other details.
State police at the Butler barracks declined to comment about the report.
Summit Academy, located on Herman Road, is a private school for court adjudicated youth in grades 9 through 12.
