[naviga:h3]KC grad LoPresti earns PSAC award[/naviga:h3]
GREENSBURG — Karns City graduate Emily LoPresti, a junior forward on the Seton Hill University women’s soccer team, has been named PSAC Women’s Soccer Athlete of the Week.
LoPresti scored five goals in two games, including both game-winners in victories of 4-2 over Bloomsburg and 3-2 over Pitt-Johnstown. She scored all three of her team’s goals in the latter game.
LoPresti leads all of NCAA Division II with eight game-winning goals and has 14 tallies on the season.
[naviga:h3]Freeport’s Camerlo Titan Athlete of Week[/naviga:h3]
NEW WILMINGTON — Freeport resident and St. Joseph graduate Morgan Camerlo has been named Titan Athlete of the Week.
A sophomore on the Westminster College women’s cross country team, Camerlo ran a school-record time of 22 minutes, 46.5 seconds at Oberlin’s Inter-Regional Rumble last weekend. Shev finished 11th out of 240 runners overall.
Camerlo was named Presidents’ Athletic Conference Women’s Runner of the Week as well.
