Butler County Christians are invited to gather at 6 p.m. Sunday at North Street Christian Church, 226 W. North St., for a community prayer meeting.

Covenant Presbyterian Church, 230 E. Jefferson St., will host “Social Justice Sunday: A Service of Messages and Music,” beginning at 11 a.m. Sunday.

A fellowship luncheon will follow. All are welcome to attend.

Intersection Community Church, 120 Walker Ave., will host a religious freedoms forum at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The event will detail the latest threats to religious freedom and rights of conscience, how to protect a family, church, ministry or business and help defend the freedom of those in the Butler community.

SARVER — Zion United Methodist Church, 438 Bear Creek Road, will host a Ladies’ Day Retreat from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

“You Are Beautiful!” speakers Jennifer Cadamore and Chelsea Leslie will discuss how to see yourself from God’s perspective. They will be joined by praise team Andy and Wendy Frank.

The event is intended for ages 10 and up.

MARS — Old Union Presbyterian Church, 200 Union Church Road, will have its fifth annual Discovery Day from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday.

The adult program will be led by the Rev. Kang Na and the Rev. Matthew Edelen.

The youth program leader is Diana Mermon, who has served as youth leadership coordinator for Beaver-Butler Presbytery for seven years.
