Spingola, Fox

Maggie Spingola and Wellie Fox

Margaret Anne Spingola and James Wellington Fox, both of Zelienople, were united in marriage June 10 at Succop Nature Conservancy in Butler. The Rev. Gordon Fox officiated. A reception followed at Marcraig House at Succop Nature Conservancy.

The bride is the daughter of Dr. Charles Spingola and Dr. Kathy Schweikart-Spingola of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are the Rev. and Mrs. Gordon Fox of Monrovia, Md.

The maids of honor were Elizabeth Spingola of Blacksburg, Va., and Kathryn Spingola of Chicago. Bridesmaids were Dr. Jenna Korsan-George of Kennett Square, Elysse Stanger of Philadelphia and Michelle Raley of Butler.

Performing the duties of best man were Lt. Ryan Babb of the U.S. Coast Guard, Connor Clune of Burlington, Vt., and Patrick McCarthy of North Bethesda, Md. Groomsmen were Nicholas Jackson of College Park, Md., Ryan Lacy of Ellicott City, Md., Chris Cervenka of Waynesboro, Va., and Robert Fox of Monrovia, Md.

The bride is a 2007 graduate of Butler High School, a 2011 graduate of Towson University and a 2017 graduate of the Catholic University of America.

She is a certified registered nurse practitioner at Butler Cardiovascular Consultants in Butler.

The bridegroom graduated from Urbana High School in 2010 and from Towson University in 2014.

He is a software support specialist at Careform in Green Tree.

Following a honeymoon trip to Fort Myers Beach and Universal Studios, the couple is making their home in Zelienople.
