CRANBERRY TWP — A Sewickley man is accused of masturbating in public after an incident at Costco in June.

David C. Whitten, 75, waived a charge of open lewdness to county court, where he'll be arraigned Oct. 3.

A store employee noticed Whitten following a child around the store June 28 “with his left hand in his pocket moving it around in an aggressive manner,” the affidavit said.

Whitten admitted to the incident in Cranberry while being interviewed by Ohio Township Police.
