Police seize drugs, cash; arrest pair
:BUTLER TWP — Police found more than a hamburger and fries inside a McDonald's bag early Wednesday morning at a Route 8 motel.
In the bag they turned up about 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, Butler Township officers say they found heroin and crack cocaine.
When police later searched the owner of the fast food restaurant bag, they found $2,166 in currency. A 17-year-old boy with the suspect had $211.
Police arrested Devon N. Davis Hill, 25, and the teen, both of Philadelphia for felony drug possession.
Hill is in the Butler County Prison on $100,000 bail. The teenager, who police did not identify, was turned over to county juvenile probation authorities.
A reported assault between a man, later identified as Davis Hill, and a woman initially sent officers to the Days Inn, police said. Officers investigated that call but filed no charges.
