Shawn Marcellus had three hits and drove in a run, but the Butler junior varsity baseball team lost a 4-3 decision to Hempfield.

Garret Banner added a triple, single and RBI. Butler (5-3, 4-1) travels to Pine-Richland today.

Track and Field

Butler Junior High’s boys completed their season with an 84.5-46.5 win over North Allegheny. The Tornado were led by strong performances from Landon Kretzer in the short put and discus, Dylan Eyth in the pole vault.

Butler was 8-1 this season.
