Steelers' 2017 slate announced

PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Steelers will play six of their first nine games on the road this season as the NFL announced its 2017 schedule Thursday night.

The Steelers open the season Sept. 10 at Cleveland. Their first home game is at 1 p.m. Sept. 17 against Minnesota.

Pittsburgh will play four successive games in prime time, beginning Nov. 16 at home against Tennessee on a Thursday night. That will be followed by a home Sunday night game Nov. 26 against Green Bay, Monday Night Football Dec. 4 at Cincinnati and a Sunday night home game against Baltimore Dec. 10.

The Steelers will also play on Christmas Day for the second successive year, a 4:30 p.m. kickoff at Houston.
