The Kids’ Weekend Backpack Program will be the beneficiary of the Butler BlueSox Buck-a-Hit charitable fundraising campaign.

The BlueSox donate one dollar to the designated charity each year for every hit the team produces, home and away. Other local businesses and individuals may join the campaign as well.

Last year, the ballclub and its roster of 13 participants raised $7,476 for the Ellen O’Brien Gaiser Addiction Center.
