Bailey Royhab, 13, of Evans City, presented 105 parking meter covers on Monday night to Evans City council and Mayor Dean Zinkhann at council’s monthly meeting.

Bailey made the pine tree-shaped meter covers by hand because the borough did not have enough to cover the meters for the holiday shopping season, when parking is free from Dec. 17 to Jan. 7.

The project was part of Bailey’s community service toward earning the Girl Scout Silver Award.

Bailey, an eighth-grader at Seneca Valley, is the daughter of Aaron and Lynn Royhab of Evans City.
