George W. Keller
In loving memory of our beloved George W. Keller
A million times I’ve needed you,
A million times I’ve cried,
If love could have you saved you,
You never would have died.
In life I loved you dearly,
In death I love you still,
In my heart you hold a place,
And you always will.
When I am sad and lonely
And everything goes wrong,
I seem to hear you whisper,
“Cheer up and carry on.”
To some you may be forgotten,
To others a part of the past,
To me who loved and lost you,
Your memory will always last.
May you always walk in sunshine
God’s love around you glow,
The happiness you gave to me
No one will ever know.
I can’t bring the old days back,
Your hand I cannot touch,
But in my heart your memory lingers
Of the one I loved so much.
They say time heals all sorrow,
And helps us to forget,
But time so far has only proven
How much I miss you yet.
It broke my heart to lose you,
But you didn’t go alone,
Because part of me went with you,
The day God took you home.
Forever loved
and sadly missed by,
Wife, Wanda; Children, Grandchildren, and
Great-grandchildren
