Medical firm moves in
JACKSON TWP — Several months after approval from township supervisors, a new facility at Jackson’s Pointe is seeing a new business moving in.
C.R. Bard, a medical supply company, started moving into the 93,000-square-foot facility on Russell Road near Route 19 in October, Buncher Co. Vice President Brian Goetz said.
Bard will occupy about 60,000 square feet of the building, located on Route 19 south of the Speedway gas station and convenience store.
The other 33,000 square feet of space will be available for commercial retail use. However, Goetz said no businesses have been confirmed for that building.
The number of jobs created by Bard moving in was not immediately available.
A Penske Truck Rental facility will take up about 5.4 acres on Russell Road opposite the Bard building. It will have 3,000 square feet of office space and 9,800 square feet of truck maintenance areas along with 88 parking spaces.
