SRU to hold conversations program tonight
SLIPPERY ROCK — Slippery Rock University says it wasn't immune from hate speech and other election-related messages during this year's presidential campaign. And the school wants students and members of the community to talk about it tonight.
The university said its first Courageous Conversations program, which is titled “Culture and Symbols” and explores how people interpret “election-time messages,” will begin at 6 p.m. in the Smith Student Center Ballroom.
