Artists network hosts $100 art show
CRANBERRY TWP — The idea behind an art show going on in the township municipal center is simple: Each work of art is for sale for $100.
The show, which runs until Nov. 2, has about 115 works of art, including paintings, drawings and sculptures, done by members of the Cranberry Artists Network.
The art is on display in the building’s lobby and can be viewed anytime the building, located at 2525 Rochester Road, is open.
“Everything here is original, one of a kind — you can’t get it anywhere else, yet it is a doable figure,” said Kathy Bischak, artists network member.
Participating artists were told to keep their pieces smaller than a 16-inch square. The price point and small size made the group hopeful that people would be able to find good holiday gifts at the show, she said.
