[naviga:h3]Moraine scouts earn their Eagles[/naviga:h3]

The Moraine Trails Council continues to produce more Eagle Scouts.

The Glacier Ridge District has approved 29 Eagle Scouts so far this year, and there have been 44 scouts approved council-wide, according to council officials. The Moraine Trails Council encompasses all of Lawrence, Butler and Armstrong counties with a small part of Westmoreland County.

Nationally, only about 6.5 percent of all scouts will achieve the rank of Eagle.
