The Mercer Livestock Auction provided the following report from Sept. 23:

Feeder cattle, fancy grades, $1.30 to $1.41 per pound, high grades, 114. to 129.50, lower grades, 95. to 112.50, dairy grades, 75. to 94. and heavy weights, to 107.50; cows, small-framed Hereford pairs, 700. to 850., cow and calf pairs, bred, to 1000., and commercial, to 75.; commercial bulls, super heavies, to 90., heavies, to 87. and lights, 101.

The Mercer Livestock Auction provided the following report from Tuesday:

Heavy commercial bulls, heavy weight, $80. to $100., and medium weight, 78. to 91.; commercial cows, high grade, 67.50 to 74.50, core sales, 55. to 66., and lower grades, 45. to 54.50; fed colored cattle, low choice, 95. to 104., and selects, 85. to 94.; fed Holsteins, selects, to 81.; feeder cattle, high grades, 115. to 131., average grades, 95. to 112.50, and heavy, to 104.; and calves, core sales, 80. to 100.

The next special fall sale is Oct. 21. Also, winter hours will begin Nov. 1.
