Freeport’s Johnathan Asay placed first overall and teammate Alec Parker was second to lead the Yellowjacket boys to victory in the five-team Quad County Cross Country Invitational, held Wednesday in Freeport.
Knoch won the girls’ meet with Heather Wittmer, Sammy Jo Barnes and Chloe Ciora earning spots two through four.

Scott Hangliter led the way for Seneca Valley with a 37 to lead the Raiders to a 200-221 win over Butler at Butler County Club.
