Moniteau wins KSAC Mega-Match
Golfer Weston Kimmey earned medalist honors by carding a 40 to lead Moniteau to a first-place finish at the first KSAC MegaMatch of the season Friday at Foxburg Country Club.
Teammates Cortney Claypoole and Kristina DeMatteis also finished in the individual top 10, firing a 41 (second) and 44 (seventh), respectively.
The Warriors totaled 227 strokes in their win.
Karns City placed second as a team with 232 strokes. The Gremlins were led by Hunter Gifford (42), Matt Wolfe (42) and Logan Pistorius (46).
A-C Valley finished in eighth place with 292. Kolby Montgomery shot a 42 and Ethan Nevel a 46.
