Dale Thomas Major

Dale Thomas Major, 64, of Valencia passed away Tuesday.

Born Dec. 12, 1951, in Detroit, he was the son of Elaine (Herrington) and the late Arthur Daniel Major.

Dale worked as an independent manufacturer's representative for the steel industry. He was an antique car enthusiast and a talented artist. He enjoyed photography and riding motorcycles. He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Inger (Keulen) Major, who he married April 9, 1983; his two sons, Michael Alexander Major of Burbank, Calif., and Thomas Arthur Major and his wife, Stacey, of Los Angeles; his granddaughter, Sophia Paris Major; his mother, Elaine (Herrington) Major of Canton, Mich.; his sisters, Mary Poole and her fiancé, Jan Russell, of Northville, Mich., Christy Stidham and her husband, Steve, of Kansas City, Kan., and Janis Major of Northville, Mich.; and three nieces and their families.

Dale was a wonderful husband and father and was a great friend to everyone.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one brother, Arthur Major.
