Man injured while fishing
MUDDY CREEK TWP — A man fishing off the Bear Run boat launch at Moraine State Park Wednesday afternoon was being airlifted to an area hospital after getting a fishing hook stuck either near or in one of his eyes.
Park Manager Dustin Drew said medical crews were on-scene just after noon assisting the man, whose identity wasn’t immediately available. Emergency dispatchers said a medical helicopter was dispatched to the boat launch at about 12:30 p.m. The man’s condition or the hospital where he was being taken weren’t immediately available.
