Will Schneider continued his torrid start to the season with a 2-for-4 night as Butler scored a pair of runs in the top of the eighth inning for a 3-2 win over Champion City in Prospect League baseball action Tuesday night.

Zach Patterson picked up the win in relief of Dillon Sunnafrank, who pitched seven strong innings, striking out seven and giving up just two hits.

Kyle Zurak pitched a hitless ninth for the save.

Schneider drove in the winning run with a single in the eighth for the BlueSox (7-5).

It was the sixth straight multi-hit game for Schneider since joining the BlueSox a week ago. He is batting .640 this season.

Butler will travel to Lafayette, Ind., for a game tonight.
