PORTERSVILLE — The “Spring Gas-up” will take place Saturday and Sunday at the Portersville Steam Show Grounds on Route 19.

This event will open the 2016 season for the nonprofit organization.

Displays and demonstrations of antique farm and oil field equipment will be on the grounds.

Also scheduled are antique automobiles, crafts, a flea market, saw milling and the old tractor “just for fun” pulling contest.

The vintage village consists of a print shop with operating Linotype machine, an operational 1880s machine shop, a steam engine building, and an exhibit building containing model trains, toys and old dairy equipment line.

Parking is free and children ages 11 and younger have free admission.
