KC track teams win big
Rebecca Pennington took first place in the 1,600 and 3,200-meter runs as the Karns City girls track and field team dispatched Union (127-22) and Keystone (111-39) Wednesday afternoon.
In boys' action, Karns City's Collin Dunmyre won the 100 and 200 dashes to help the Gremlins thump Union (118.33-31.67) and Keystone (106.5-43.5).

Shannon Doyle scored five goals as Mars beat Cardinal Wuerl North Catholic 13-2.

Boys Tennis
Butler's Cam Sedwick moved his singles record to 11-1 with a win in the Golden Tornado's 4-1 victory over Montour.
The result sends Butler to the first round of the WPIAL Class AAA team playoffs where it will face Upper St. Clair today.
