William 'Wil' Morrow
IN MEMORIAM

Memorial Tribute 2016 William ‘Wil’ Morrow July 16, 1981 – April 28, 2005

Charles L. Mashburn wrote “Pennies from Heaven”

I read this poem many years ago

And it seemed to calm my heart.

It says that a penny on the ground

Comes from an angel in heaven.

So many times I’ve felt sad or angry or worried

And there it was … a small little coin.

The cost of a piece of candy when I was little

But more valuable than a bar of gold.

Rushing to catch a flight and running late,

Aching and missing you, finishing a demanding project,

Andrew and Amelia finding pennies in a rental car,

And walking out of an Irish Pub in Dublin

To find a small one cent coin shining on the

sidewalk.

For us, pennies have

become a sign.

It’s a warm breath blowing over my soul,

It’s a gentle touch, it’s a smile of joy

And it’s a reminder of your love.

Rest in Peace gentle giant.

Love Mom and Dad, Laurie, John, Andrew and Amelia Dave and Melodie
