Thelma Blanche Ellenberger

Thelma Blanche Ellenberger, 72, of Sunset Road, Grove City, died peacefully Monday afternoon at her home.

She was born Jan. 22, 1944, in Black Log Valley, Huntingdon County, Pa., to the late Cloyd Ray and Margaret Grace Price Sipes. She married Kenneth William Ellenberger Sr. on June 6, 1963. He died May 16, 2009.

Mrs. Ellenberger was a homemaker and a member of the North Liberty Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include her son, Kenneth W. Ellenberger Jr. of Grove City; and two daughters, Lori A. Southworth and her husband, Jerry, of Cochranton, Pa., and Lisa P. Sevin and her husband, Mark, of Grove City.

She is also survived by one sister, Jean Laird and her husband, Richard, of New Castle, Del.; two brothers, James Sipes and his wife, Peggy, of Wilmington, Del., and Melvin L. Sipes and his wife, Patty, of Phoenixville, Pa.; four grandchildren, Khrystyne and Alora Southworth and Monica Kauffman and Hunter Sevin; and her great-grandson, Ryder Southworth.

<hardreturn>ELLENBERGER — Visitation for Thelma Ellenberger, who died Monday, April 25, 2016, will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Smith Funeral Home, 421 New Castle St., Slippery Rock. <br />Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert McCreight officiating. <br />Interment will follow at the Ross Cemetery, Meringo, Huntingdon County, Pa.<br class="hardreturn" />
